Fredag kväll är taco natt

Today I was slow to get moving.  When I finally got myself up out of bed, I made my breakfast, and then took Messi for a walk to loosed up my legs for tomorrow.

I worked on compiling lists of Swedish words I am learning, and did some laundry to get my practice stuff ready for the game tomorrow.

When it was lunch time, Vanessa and I went down to the kitchen at Knieppbyn and had chicken caesar salads.  We had a pleasant sit down and talked about this and that and really enjoyed ourselves.

Then it was time to head to Sankta Karens Cathedral to watch Sweden take on Italy.  Bummer of an ending, but it was still fun to be in the environment to watch.  The venue was great too :)

From the cathedral we headed to Hemmakväll to get movies and snacks for a "home night" after dinner.  I have never seen so much candy in one place in my whole life time... it was incredible.  I also learned that Sweden eats more candy per capita than any other country in the world.  I've yet to see a fat person either.

Friday night is traditionally taco night in the Werkelin household, so we picked up groceries on the way home and put together a fabulous taco bar for the family.

Taco night!
After cleaning up, we decided to hot tub out on the deck despite the rainy weather.

Now time to watch the movie.  I think it'll be Point Break.  I hadn't heard of it before but it sounds interesting so I'm excited to see.
