Sju till två

Today was game day.

Vendela and I were up and about early to get ready for the day.  The team met at VBY at 8:30 for our flight at 9:15 to BMA.  We landed and were at the field at 10:50.  Warm-up started 11:20 and the game began at 12:00.

I got credit for the first goal because I was the last person on our team to touch it before Telgé accidentally put it in the back of their net... 👍🏽

The final was a 7-2 win for P18 (woohoo!), and then it was time for a quick shower before the bus ride back to BMA for a 4:10 flight home to VBY.

It was SO good to be playing with a team again.  It's different from Arkansas in a lot of ways.  It was so amazing to be back out there though.  It's been a minute since I played a full 90 minute game.  I'm a little beat up, but it was wonderful.  Even though it rained the whole game ⚽️ 🇸🇪

Tonight I went to town with Anja and Bobbo for a free concert by Jono - a Swedish group that writes and sings songs in Engleska.

Afterward we went to a sweet place called Bistro Torget for dinner.  It was really nice getting spend time with them since most of my time has been with my sisters and little brother.  Bobbo is so busy with work during the week that we haven't really had a chance chat.  It was great. 😇

Now home and bed early and hopefully a relatively easy day tomorrow to recover before practice Monday. Boston has an underwater rugby game tomorrow night that I am excited to go watch.  I don't know anything about the sport but I am excited to learn because Boston really enjoys it.
