Today I had to put Jonathan on a boat back to the mainland...
I can't believe that 8 days FLEW past so quickly.
Travel wears me out and so I've been slowing down over the last couple of days, but we still had a fun last day. This morning was mini-golf with Boston after breakfast. Jonathan beat me by 4 strokes, and agreed that it is the most intense game of mini-golf he's ever played.
After a good snack back up at the house, we motivated ourselves to bike to town for one last look around and some souvenir shopping. Then we had a late lunch to hopefully tide him over until he finds good food next...
We pedaled back home and finished up his last minute packing, then Ali took us to the terminal. I waited with him until Vanessa got there to say bye and then he had to check in and go get on the boat.
Vanessa and I then went to three different grocery stores to find the foods she wanted for making dinner (it's HIGH season now so the tourists are here en masse and you can feel it in the grocery stores...)
Then I watched a really lame Rom-Com on Netflix to cheer me up (it didn't work really), and then headed to bed after hearing from Jonathan that he was safely off the boat in Stockholm.
I'm tired.
Godnatt.
